The first thing you need to do is learn to rely on your husband and your children, within their abilities of course, to help YOU because you are the one still recovering from surgery that from your description didn't go well.

Yes, find a new doctor and have him or her obtain your records from your current doctor especially the surgical report that should contain very detailed information about every single thing that occured during your surgery.

Then, you need to realize that not all surgeons have the skills necessary to do a vaginal hysterectomy. If your doctor felt it best to do an abdominal surgery due to specific circumstances then that is what was done. For the future doctor, make sure the doctor is skilled and trained in laparoscopic surgery.

Try going to the page on the main EndometriosisZone.org website and look up the doctors on the board of advisors. http://www.endozone.org and see if any of them are in your area. There's lots of information and links on the website to help you find what you need, just look around.
