Sometimes I wish doctors would stop going by the book and listen to there patients. To be honest I don't know if it is my sciatic nerve or not, but when I had my lap They removed scar tissue from the nerve that runs between my ovary and my intestines, among other places. I had very severe pain to the point ib didn't cut it. They have me on percicet as needed and naproxen 2 in the morning and 2 at night and on sleeping medication. I was told the surgery would work for one to five years and it only worked for three months. I am looking at my second surgery in a year and they recently told me my goal should not be to be pain free because the chances of that are slim to none. They told me even with a full hysterectomy my chances are not good. But my goal should be to be functional because as of now I am not. My pain is so severe I double over and can not get up and now when my stomach acts up it shoots down my leg and my leg begins hurting so bad I can not walk. So it is possible. I hope this helps if you want to talk more feel free to email me. I wish you luck and if you need anything feel free to ask.
