mahalo, There are reversable and irreversible tubal ligations. The irreversable is just that. The reversable one can ususally be surgically reversed with the hopes of future pregnancies, however, there can be scar tissue that forms in the tube that can make it difficult to concieve. This is how it was explained to me by my Dr. when I had my tubal done. So unless the Dr. did a reversal it is still intact. I was 22 and had it done during a C-section. Like any surgery a tubal is something that is highly personal and no one should be forced into it, I am sorry that happened to you. It is best that you talk to your DR. about it.
