Alison,

I was extremely sore for almost 2 1/2 months after my first lap. I've had 3 total, the last one just this past January. It is not uncommon if they do a lot of moving around in there. I choose not to do the lupron because of all of the side effects. My doctor put me on Agestyn, basically just progesterone. The side effects are less dramatic. There is a little bit of weight gain, I only gained 10 pounds. There are no hot flashes, no crying spells. Ask your doctor if that is an option. As far as the bleeding, I bled for about 2 weeks, and spotted for another 3. Don't worry, it's all pretty normal. If you have any questions feel free to email me @ jesicamueller@yahoo.com
