Hi everyone, I am new to this site, but am hoping someone will have some thoughts on what is going on with me. I had a laparoscopy done 3 and a half weeks ago and they foud small spots of endo all over the place, along with some scar tissue on my lower left abdomen. Since the lap, i have been having a lot of pain that feels more like horrible period cramps throughout my lower abdomen. It wakes me up at night, and comes in waves that are really intense. I have been taking 600mg motrin every 5 hours since the surgery. In addition to this, i have been bleeding continuously since the surgery. My doctor says these things are nothing to worry about, and the new pain could just be a result of all the poking that went on during the surgery. I have been taking birth control pills continuously since january and they have done nothing for me (why i did the surgery). Now i am supposed to be starting lupron this week. i am one nervous about starting lupron, and two just feel like something is not right with this pain. Has anyone had an experience like this this long after a lap was done? The pain is so bad now that i feel like i don't have a choice but to try the lupron because i can't live my life like this.
