Anyone w/ endo or scar tissue on sciatic nerve? From: Jesica (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Jun 9 17:26:24 2005
I've had lower back pain since my first lap in 2001. I've spent the last 4 years trying chiropractic care, physical therapy, massages, pain medications, and injections, none of which helped. I have thought from the beginning that it had something to do with the endo. They say something is pinching my sciatic nerve, but no one has been able to figure out what. I've had xrays and mri's and they have come up with nothing that is causing me to be in pain every day. I am currently taking 5 200mg Ibuprofen 4x daily to deal with the pain. I haven't slept through the night in over a year. All of the doctors I've seen have told me there's no way endo or scar tissue could be pinching the nerve. I had one doctor tell me I had a better chance of getting hit by a bus than having endo or scar tissue pinching the nerve. I don't want to continue to take all of these pills, I just want one day of comfort. Has anyone out there had this problem?
