Hi Jacqui,

I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis about 21 years ago. For the first 12 years, I had 7 surgeries ( during one of the surgeries, I had a small piece of my intestines removed) and received several hormonal treatments. For the past 8 years, my condition was very stable and seemed to be under control. I taking BCPs on a continuous basis. I would interrrupt the regimen for one week when I would notice some spotting. Then I would get a period for about 3 weeks. The first week the flow would be normal, for the next 2 weeks, I would experience a lighter flow. In Januari, I decided to take a break from my hormonal treatment. Last week, I started to notice some vaginal bleeding when I would have a bowel movement. It was nice to find this information site. I have an appointment on Friday with my OBGYN. I will keep you posted.

Did you find more information about these symptoms so far?
