Re: disappointed in doctors

Okay, now that you've had your knee-jerk reaction to what you think I said, try re-reading it again. And listen and read the real news - not network news and certainly not CNN because they are all very slanted to whoever is the 'winning team' at the moment.

Fundamentalist christians do get in the way of most medical research because they feel every advance is an affront against their interpretation of the bible and Jesus. It is not right to allow one group of people's religious beliefs to interfere with medical research that would benefit all of us. It is not right to allow one group of people's religious beliefs to influence the government, we are supposed to be guaranteed a 'Separation of Church and State' remember? There hasn't been any separation at all since the beginning - George Washington was a Mason. Yet, prayer in school was disallowed by the same people... where is the logic in that?

I'm not bashing fundamentalist christians as a whole, I'm bashing their interference in things they have no business interfering in! Sadly, if anything is going to change in the way endometriosis and other 'female diseases, disorders and conditions' are being treated, researched and insured against then it must involve political movements and when the politics are governed by religion... well, good luck!
