You may have a problem with the muscles in your rectum. It is possible that the endo. is causing it, but I think you should have further tests run on you. If you get an anorectal motility study done it will let the doctors know if there is anything wrong in the rectum. It doesn't hurt really bad surprisingly and takes less than 30 minutes. It measures the pressure of the muscles in the rectum (such as the sphincter muscle). They make you push and relax to measure the rectum as well. That is the only way to see if there is anything wrong with the rectum. Have you had this done? Do you have any problems with the muscle between the vagina and the rectum?
