A great Book for allFrom: Jessica (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Jun 2 13:20:26 2005
Hi I am a frequent poster here. I just picked up a book yesterday that I have found very helpfull. We all know that when your diagnosed with endo you never know what else you could have. This books talks a lot about endo, and a lot about evey other disease, condition, health problem etc....It even has a page in there specifically devoted to DR. REdwines work. This book is called "Prescription for nutritional healing" Third edition by: PHyllis A. Balkch, CNC, James F. Baulch, MD. THis book covers everything. I;ve also recently learned of a new procedure or finding a DR. in C.A. (DR. Cook) has found out. I have over the years had a very bad pain in my right lower quadrine. I always thought it was my appendix, but after I was diagnosed with Endo I came to think it might be my Ovary. The first time I experenced this pain I went to my Physician. MY white cell was so offf they sent me to get a C.T. right away. Everything was normal. THis pain recently came back so I was forced to do another C.T. NOthing has ever showed up, but knowing my own body I DO KNOW SOMETHING IS WRONG. Dr. Cook has a whole page detacated to his finding on the appendix. He has found that women with pelvic pain may have acute appendicitis not found by a C.T. A small infection in the appendix can be overlooked. He numbs yopu up and puts a small hole in you stomach. Looks around with a miscroscope and goes to the appendix. He pokes it and if it hurts(theres more to it I;m just trying to sum it up) he is pretty sure that there is an infection in the appendix that can cause major pain. I found this intresting. Okay well I just wanted to get the word out there about this book. I found it at G.N.C. and I hope some of you go out there and pick it up because it does give really good advice and information on everything that can happen to your body. And medicines you cann find that will work wonders for what ever you might have. Happy reading ladys. Jessica
