Doctors routinely prescribe the least amount of medication possible.
Every patient is different and some have little or no pain after surgery
while others are in pretty bad shape. I'm quite sure if you call his
office and let him know what is going on with you he will prescribe
something more effective.
Stress plays a major role in a lot of our health problems including the
severity of symptoms, especially pain. Try to keep yourself as stress
free as possible, the more tense you are the more pain you will feel.
Try not to worry over having children. I know you want to have them but
worrying about whether or not you can is not going to help you in any
way. Just try to get through the next couple of weeks first. When the
time comes you may be able to conceive quite easily or you may have
difficulties and need some intervention but worrying about it today will
not change the future.
Hope you feel better soon.
