Hi, Yes, the only way to diagnose it is a lap, but they can always see some of mine using a transvaginal Ultrasound(my doc uses this to monitor me). They also have seen some during some other diagnostic tests, but we already knew it was endo. Recently we had a geneticist speak at our support group meeting, and she said they are trying to come up with markers to identify it. This makes me very hopeful.
