Claire, I am sorry you are going through all of this pain, we have all been there. Your symptoms sound like mine and the DR. found endo everywhere during the lap in late March. I too was afraid they would say they found nothing and I was relieved to find out there was something there after many years and many DRs. It sounds like your Dr. took your concerns seriously and is doing the lap, that is the good news. It is important to eat a really good diet and lots of veggies for the fiber. Helps with the constipation and also fresh especially home grown or organic puts less chemicals that react in our body as bad estrogen and causes many problems. In my case there was endo on my bladder which may have caused the urgency feeling. I also went to urologist who did a couple of tests no serious probs, just a smaller than average bladder that got irritated by endo. It can give you the feeling that there is an infection and the tests come out normal. Detrol LA has worked for that problem. It sounds like endo but only the Dr. can tell you and he is doing the right thing by doing the lap. Good luck on Tuesday. get plenty of rest, eat lightly the day before and try to walk as much as you can tolerate after, it helps with getting the gas out of your system. If you have children you might want someone to help out for a day or two. you will be tired and sore. I hope you are pain free after the surgery. Sincerely, Bev
