It had been watery until this morning, now I am passing red stringy tissue also(sorry to be so graphic). I went for my post-op appt the other day and the dr told me this was perfectly normal. The discharge may have a yellow or an orange tinge to it too. Signs of an infection would be yellow/green thick discharge with an odor. He told me I could continue to have this discharge for several weeks to a month!! So...don't throw those pads away yet.
