Gina, I also have Blue Cross PPO and they paid for my lap done in late March, however I still had out of pocket expenses because I have a 20% copay (up to $1000)and a deductible to meet, totaling about $1,500. So maybe the $2500 is for your deductible and co-pay. I am now covered 100% for any other tests or surgeries that I may have to have for the rest of the year. YOu might want to call Bule Cross and find out from them where the $2500 cost is coming from. I can't believe they would pay for some Laps and not others. Good luck with your surgery I wish you pain free days.
