-- I had andomyosis but did not discover this until AFTER my hysterectomy. I have suffered for years and no one even though about looking for this condition. When I was just off 35 years of age (11th march 2005) I underwent a total hysterectomy and ovaries removed. It's 10 weeks post op and how fantastic do I feel ! well I don't have all that pelvic pain and no bleeding, I healed well and the sex is fine. Infact I was really scared that I would not have full function after... but I have and it's made it all worth while now. It means that I need HRT, but I feel better and more in control of it. I wrote to my old consultant and gave him a copy of my pathology report so he could see that I really was not 'mad in the head' I am really sorry that I was not treated better in view of my condition, but it happens. PLease mail me if you want anymore support.
