Lisa -- 'extraperitoneal - including my sinuses'From: Anna (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed May 18 22:57:20 2005
Lisa, I'm really sorry you've been through so much with doctors not listening to you. I find it really sad how many of us share similar stories of not being heard, for years. I finally found a WONDERFUL doctor, and I'm so grateful. Listen, when you mentioned you endo being extraperitoneal - "including my sinuses," you really caught my interest. How did you find out that you have endo in your sinuses? I just wonder... I have endo in quite an unusual place (along with the more common places), it was the first place that got me diagnosed. It was mistaken for a sign of lymphoma b/c it was on my inguinal (sp) lymph node (right groin area). It was a large growth, forming a lump. Since endo is known to have been on my lymph node, it may have travelled anywhere. I have heard of endo being in the joints -- someone on this forum I think it was, mentioned endo in the hip joint. How does one go about finding this out? I have really bad joint problems at times, but supposedly no arthritis. It makes me wonder. And a post nasal drip from hell. What are the symptoms of your endo in the sinuses? Please, any advice on what to look for re. extraperitoneal endo would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, -Anna
