We get teenagers and young girls on this list that have general questions about endo.

As for adult women, sometimes they come on to this list just to ask questions about what others think about something and then after weighing all the opinions figure out what is going to work best for them.

We shouldn't get upset if anyone that comes to this list decides in the end to not do something we suggest (after the suggestion is asked for). The choices that we make for ourselves that we suggest to others may not be the right choice for them.

Yes, dietary measures are a good option for some people. I have friends who have done well with diet for their endo but I've also known others who weren't helped.

Also, sometimes when people are depressed it's not necessarily about their illness but b/c of other things going on in their life. And b/c of this we shouldn't assume that the reason someone is depressed is b/c they are solely depressed about their illnesses.

Everyone copes in different ways with the things going on in their lives and b/c of that some aren't comfortable with getting professional help, others can't get professional help b/c of the cost so they have to do it differently. And they shouldn't be made to feel bad if they can't.

Support means different things to different people and that needs to be respected.
