Re: Why are women with ENDO on HRT after a hystorectomy????????

Because estrogen is an important element and HRT is not estrogen only. NOT all women "suffer horrible side-effects of menopause (natural, medically induced or surgically induced)" but for those who do, they usually only need about 6 to 8 weeks of supplementation at a low dose until fully recovered from surgery.

There are recognized herbal products (black cohosh for one) that do help relieve the symptoms which will go away on their own over time as your body adjusts.

The pain women with endo have comes from different sources and is perceived at different levels - it's not very objective research material to base any sort of opinion on though I appreciate your efforts and understand you are trying to help people you really are scaring people unnecessarily.

Dee, did you have anything to add to Lori's message or were you just trying to keep her post in view of the top of the page? tsk tsk
