Re: Semi-continuous bcp for 4 years...recently stopped pills...need help.From: Allisson (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu May 12 22:46:51 2005
Rachel, sometimes it takes a few months for our bodies to adjust to our natural hormone levels with out having all the additional hormones in the BCP's. I would be carefule about toxins if you think you may be pregnant. Test again in a few days if your period doesn't show up. I assume you have no idea when you ovulated and since you just quit BCP's your ovulation could be off also. So you may not have a period for a while or it could start tomorrow. You may or may not be pregnant. I would recommend that you try Fertility Friend if you are trying to conceive. The women there are very knowledgeable about this sort of thing.
