Hey Gwen...I understand being nervous about the D&C. This will be my 1st D&C also (3rd lap though) so I'm on pins & needles right now. From what I've read and heard from other women is that the D&C is not that bad. Usually some cramping and bleeding, but that should be all. Although it's hard, try not to worry about it. That's what I keep telling myself too, but it isn't working :-)!Just take it easy after the D&C and try to get some rest. If they give you something for cramping, take it as scheduled the 1st day or so, even if you're not hurting yet since it will take a little while for the medicine to get through your system.
