Hi Irene. I tend to get bloated and have constipation around the time I ovulate. This will continue til about a few days before my period, then I have intestinal cramping & an upset stomach. Then as soon as my period is over, my bowels are back to normal. I woke up yesterday morning at 1:30am with horrible intestinal cramps, yet my b.m. were normal. I hurt all day yesterday and then last night my stomach became upset. So far, I haven't started my period (I'm over a week late) but usually the upset stomach is a sign that my period is on it's way. Hope this helps!! Take care!!
