I don't know why some people keep insisting that those problems can't cause GI upset. I also have adeno, no endo on the outside of my uterus at all. Nothing inside me is adhered to anything else, etc, yet I have GI probs every month like clockwork. Mine is also diahrea, bloating, gas and all those fun things. Frankly, I don't care what the "experts" tell me, I know they are related in my case. My best friend had fibroid tumors and had to have a hyst, she also had the same GI probs every month.

I also get those GI upsets when I ovulate, but I haven't noticed any connection between GI probs and vaginal ultrasounds. I get the GI probs so often I might have just not noticed, though!

One thing I feel pretty certain of is that NO ONE can say for sure what all the possible side effects of adeno or endo are. There is no telling what all it might affect.

Good luck with your D&C, I don't know it it's your first or not, but they aren't too bad. I felt really yucky from the anestesia(sp?), but I slept through almost the entire next day.... best way to go! Sleep through the bad parts! I cramped some, but nothing like a full blown period.

Hope yours goes well, keep us posted!
