Your right Eileen Thanks for sharing.
I am now a 23yr old single mom of a 3 yr old(miracle baby), I've had
these problems since I was 12 (started my cycle) I experienced the same
thing when i was 16 but instead of removing my appendix they kept me in
a bed with only being able to drink water for 5 days. My crisis though
started at school oneday. The best thing is once you've had your lap
you'll find out what stage your at and the dr will be able to hopefully
put you on some type of treatment. Just please remember there's no cure
for this, I'm still seeking treatment and even though I live in Canada I
may have to wait over a yr now just for a lap. I have been currently
waiting over 4 months just for an ultrasound. Things will get better
and you will learn how to deal a bit better too. I found that when i
feel the wave of pain coming I put on heat patches on my abdomin and
back while takin some advil. Breathing deeply to focusing on other
things too will help in the meantime. If you ever need to talk, during
the day i check the following email: snoops6015@yahoo.com
And in the evening at snoopy6015@hotmail.com
Your not alone we all have these issues of chronic pain, but hopefully
oneday there will be some more answers.
