Re: can anyone help me figure out whats going on in my body? From: Rachel (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri May 6 20:35:02 2005
Kristen, I was not attacking you. I think you're suffering a tremendous amount of emotional pain, which you need to address. I've gone through it myself, and it does make the pain a lot worse. I'm seriously, honestly, trying to help you. What I'm telling you is not to worry about your weight, and eat as healthfully as possible. I can tell you that Atkins is just about the worst thing you can to do your body if you have endo. You need real, whole, nutrition constantly. And, I absolutely did not say you were fat. What you are feeling is understandable, but nothing has a quick fix, even the pain. You joined gym, but that's too much for you. I tried it too, and it was too much for my body too. Have you tried walking at your own pace for 20 minutes a few times a week? Kristen, there are a lot of things that you can still try, but they need to be done one at a time as you're able to take them in, not all at once. It's all about lifestyle. I'd bet there's not one woman on this board who has not had to change her lifestyle 180 degrees from where it was before endo. I know you're probably going to see this post as negative, but I'm trying to help. Please answer one question...Have you tried giving up both red meat (or all meat) and dairy?
