This is the test that is done with dye and X-Ray. I have had it done twice. It can be uncomfortable but I had no side effects from it. You will probably cramp. I recommend you ask for a valium to take before the test to relax you. It doesn't take long. FYI-Most insurance do not pay for these. Check with your insurance company to see if they do. We have had to pay for two tests even though one of them was not for the purpose of infertility.
