Hi everyone, I did see my pain mgmt. dr. and wanted to post on what he suggested. he gave me norco for my more mild pain which klast a couple weeks a month and avinza for my worst pain during my period. i think norco will be good bc vicodin works well for me and i think that is similar. but im a little scared of the avinza bc it is long lasting (supposed to be 24 hours) and if its anything like oxycontin (didnt like the side effects) im not gonna want it in my body for that long. has anyone tried this before (i think its like morphine and he said its a new drug)? thanks! (maybe i shouldve just got morphine instead of this--i dont think i like the sustaioned release drugs they seem to make me feel gross.) m
