2 days off for lap -- is that enough?

Hello everyone. I'm having lap done on the 18th. This will make my 3rd lap but it's been about 5 years since my last one. The dr is also going to do a D&C and uterine ablation (balloon therapy) at the same time. I've requested off of work 2 days -- the day of the surgery and the day after. From what I can remember, I "think" I was feeling better after 2-3 days after the lap. Is this about the normal recovery time? Also, I'm having trouble remembering how long it took for the swelling to go down. This will be my first time having a D&C and uterine ablation. Does anyone know the recovery time on these procedures? My mom and dad are coming down to help out with the kids so that it will take some pressure off of my husband and myself. Like I said earlier, it's been years since I've had the last lap and I'm having trouble remembering about the length of recovery time. I'm just trying to figure out how much time I'll need off of work & get a quick "refresher course" on what to expect afterwards...Thanks!!
