Re: pain meds that work best for your pain?

Hi,

Vicoden works well for me but getting it prescribed is a tough one. I can use Ultram in the morning and IF the pain gets bad one or two Vicodens for the rest of the day, if needed. Percocet has worked but I don't like the disconnected feeling and stomach upset. Those are the best I have been prescribed. (6 days until I see my new doctor, YEAH!!!!!!!!!)

Please post how your appointment went for pain management. When I brought up the idea with my internist she said it would not work for this. I then had to wonder if she thinks this is in my head or what. I am not convinced this would not work.

I am starting accupunture today. I will let you know how it goes. I know it will take a few weeks to feel the full effect but I am encouraged.
