Hi there! This is my 1st time replying to anything like this, but I just had to because of your diagnosis. I am scheduled to have a hysterectomy on Wednesday (May 4th) for Ademyosis. I had my tubes tied in 2000 after my daughter was born and last Jan. or so I started bleeding between my periods. I went on the pill to controll my bleeding in April. At first it helped alittle. Then maybe after a couple of months I started bleeding 3 weeks out of 4. My doctor did an ultrasound on me thinking I may have polyps. But she diagnosed me with Ademyosis. It is when blood and tissue get trapped in the inner walls of the uterus. This makes the uterus inlarge and she also stated my uterus is like "mush". Endometriosis is a sister disease to Ademyosis, except Endometriosis happens on the outside of the uterus. I don't really have the pain, but the pills may help with that. Did you have the total hysterectomy? I am. What do you think about taking estrogen?
