It doesn't seem so rare after all the accounts I've read. I've had 6 pneumos in the past year--2 before that before I knew what they were. They always coincide with my period. This past one was my biggest--40%. None of my doctors ever told me that the tamoxifen I've been taking after breast cancer almost 2 years ago might be a consideration since it stimulates the endometrium to grow. I've had to figure out the whole catamenial thing by myself by going on-line. I've never had treatment, just chest x-rays. I'm trying to decide if I should do anything besides go off of my tamoxifen. I'd like to know if anyone had success with either surgery or hormones, and if there were any bad side effects from either. I've heard there may be chroinic pain after surgery. >>>>Hi it is so nice to hear that I am not the only person in the world that >>>>had the same problem.
