Re: DR. REDWINE - ENDOMETRIOSIS - 80% CURE RATE - WEBSITE--to nicole

Hi M,

You are very welcome for the info. So you have Blue Cross also? When I called to verify usual & customary charges Blue Cross said that all of the charges that Dr. Redwine gave me were going to be fully covered at the 60% rate. So that's a plus for you to think of. Also, Dr. Redwine's office will work with you on your payments. They don't give me a deadline of when the payments have to be made, they just said in a few months they will start charging 75 dollars a month interest free. I would imagine that the 75 dollar amount is negotiable also. Remember that the insurance covers anything over the out-of-pocket amount. If the deductible is 500 and the coverage 75% then the maximum out-of-pocket is like 3100.00 but if the deductible is 1100 and the coverage is 60% for out-of-network doctors the out-of-pocket is like 6100. So paying the 80% of Dr. Redwines fee up front is almost all of the out-of-pocket expense anyway. I'm pretty sure that's how it is all going to work but I will definately keep you posted and especially about the letter I wrote Blue Cross asking for them to cover Dr. Redwines fee at 75% since he is the only Endo surgeon specialist that I knew of and closest to me in Alaska. I'm sorry to hear you have major medical bills to pay already. I procrastinated this surgery because of the cost and because I paid so much for the last surgery that didn't work. I've been working at home because I was in too much pain to work out of the home. I started a bookkeeping, payroll, tax business to help bring in some income from home. I know that is not possible for everyone but good luck making it possible to get the right medical help. Dr. Redwine is the man!! I didn't really know if he'd help me and I really can't believe that I feel this good. I would pay Dr. Redwine 10 times what he charged to feel this good after 12 years of misery. Thanks for the note and I'll be in touch. Have a great day!
