THis is my 1st visit to this website and I wanted to let you know my experience. I have had Endo for 12 years and am in my 6th week of recovery from my surgery by Dr. David B. Redwine. I have to say that I was skeptical for a while but researched him alot and also knew of a women who went to see him a year ago and has been 100% pain & sickness free since he performed her surgery. I had surgery by Dr. Redwine March 15th, 2005. I have had 2 periods now and this is the 1st period in 12 years that is absolutely PAIN and SICKNESS FREE!!! I can hardly believe it myself since I had the disease scattered about all over my internal organs and also a growth the size of a small grapefruit attached to my uterus. Dr. Redwine has been researching the disease for so long that he can see it even in its rarest of forms. He is for real! I traveled all the way from Alaska to Bend Oregon to see if he's for real and trust me he is! I have been sick for anywhere from 5 to 15 days a month and here I am already only at 6 weeks recovered but already pain and symptom free. Although there is NOT a cure for Endometriosis there IS a wonderful treatment. Not only does Dr. Redwine remove the disease down to its roots instead of just burning the top layer of it, he can see it where most surgeons would say it's not Endo. Evey piece of skin or disease taken from my body had a Pathology report done on it, and all of it came back as ENDOMeTRIOSIS! He has this done at every surgery that is how he has gotten so good at identifying it. Also he perfoms a presacral neurectomy which is the removal of the stomach nerve. So even after removal of the disease you won't have to suffer from "normal" menstral cramping. Dr. Redwine is not a hoax, he is truely a genius out there available to help us women that have been suffering from Endo. Check out his web-site, talk to his wonderful staff. The hospital in Bend is wonderful too. They call it hotel St. Charles. :) I hope this helps a little, feel free to contact me if you have specific questions. My goal is to let everyone know that there is hope. Suffering EVERY MONTH for 12 YEARS is too much. Suffering from Endo at all is too much, especially when there is a SUCCESSFUL treatment out there that has been proven to help MANY, MANY women. Have a great day!
