Just to clarify, I was not talking to the author of that first response, rather to the one who stated that doctors don't have to keep patients on narcotics for long, and doesn't anyone think about their liver? That statement just seemed obnoxious and inappropriate, especially seeing as how the author did not leave any practical ways of dealing with the pain, just a snide remark, with no real reason, other than to be mean. If I am not viewing this correctly, I apologize. I just don't see how a person who is suffering should be denied relief. It is shocking how many people think that we should all just grin and bear it.
