My Husband's brother is a heroine addict, but neither him nor any of his other siblings would ever pick up a needle. My father is an alcoholic, but I rarely drink. My brother snorts more coke than anyone I have ever met, but I have only touched the stuff once. Give it a rest. Who really cares about their liver when the rest of their body feels like it is going to explode with all of the pain? Are you a doctor, or are you just a sour person? I feel sorry for you. If you can't say these things openly, why say them at all? Do you suffer from severe pain, or do you just like judging those of you around you who do? This is a SUPPORT board, not a board set up to pass judgement on those around you. If that girl can go through a root canal, and not take pain meds, knowing that she will have worse pain later due to her illness, then I would say that she has a legitimate complaint. You may not feel that way, but if you aren't saying what you are saying to be sarcastic, and in ignorance, why remain anonymous? Why post at all? I may be a newbie, and if I am out of line, I am sure that I will belet in on it, but I just can't understand why anyone would feel the need to leave a judgemental response to that thread, unless they have never been there themself.
