I took seasonale last year in an effor to 'stop the periods'. Bad idea - my body did not like it. I bled constantly for about 4 months, when I gave up and switched to the patch (it's relatively ok for me). I'm with you that more hormones are just not the answer - I feel like it has only messed up my natural balance. Interestingly, I discovered my endometrioma (4.5 cm) about 6 months after switching to the patch, but had been off pills for 2 years before seasonale, and on them before that for 3 years. so I'm not sure when it developed, or if seasonale could even be part of the problem.
