It controlled my moods very well, as far as hormones and all that great female stuff. I really like it until the week before my cycle and the week of. I had the most excruciating pain and wound up in the emergency room. I can't say that it would effect you like that. I know Yasmin isn't used for women with endo. I have been on birth control pills since I was 12 and I am soon to be 23. I have used Ortho-tricyclen and had horrible problems with it due to the extreme change in estrogen/progesterone levels each week. Then I used Ortho-novum. I responded VERY well to that with my endo. It is low in estrogen/progesterone and is the same doseage of pills all 21 days you take it. The week of my cycle was no problem. (I always have problems with my bowels on or off the pills and horrible lower back pain) I have tried Norinyl. Those pills made me endo. act up so much. I was in constant pain and my moods were all over the place. Now I am on Lupron injections, but I am not getting them any longer b/c of the long term side effects. I hope this helps somewhat. Let us know what you decide to do! :O)
