Patient Assisted Laparoscopy

Can anyone who has info on pain mapping or patient assited lap Email me at the above address. I have endo and have had three surgeries over three years. I've tried Lupron injections and other forms of medical pain management without much relief. I am scheduled for surgery in May again and my doc wants to try this procedure to see if some of my pain is coming from areas that she can't see. I'd be interested in any hearing from anyone who has had this procedure done - I'm a little worried about being awake during surgery - I've heard that it's "uncomfortable" because of the gas and feeling as if you can't breathe(due to the breathing tube)... any advice or insight?
