All the injections do is subside the pain temporarily. I have had 2
lupron injections and they give you incredibly miserable side effects-at
least they have for me. The injections just shrink the endo., but as
soon as you stop them (the FDA only approves them for 6 months due to
bone loss), you get the pain back. With the injections you can get hair
loss, high/low blood pressure, severe headaches, hot and cold flashes,
depression, anxiety, gain weight, etc. Why can't you doctor do an
excision? That is where the doctor goes in and just cuts the endo. out
of the organs it is on. That has a better success rate of over coming
the endo. I am having that done in May. I would not have a
hysterectomy b/c even if he does that, you can still have the endo. My
aunt has it really bad and even though they did a hysto. she stills has
a lot of the same problems and pain. I don't know anything about cysts
on female organs, but I would not give up total hope of being able to
have a child. Does your doctor specialize in endo.? Has he given you
his idea of what you should have done or is he just simply asking you?
He should know what the best action is. If he doesn't I would see a
different doctor. If they get rid of the cysts and the doctor can
properly do the excisions, you should not have to get a hysto. and
could possibly have children. Please go to this web site for further
information... (this is the place that I have decided to go to)

I hope this helps some what. Let us know how you are doing. Take
