Back from post op follow-up -- PLEASE HELPFrom: Laura (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Mar 31 13:42:27 2005
It was one week since my surgery and I saw the doctor today. I swear that every time that I leave the doctor I am in tears. It's either because they are poking and probing what hurts or because I am so completely frustrated. As usual my doctor rushed me right through the visit and I do not feel any more educated when I walked in. Plus, with his rushing me, I forgot to ask the questions that I have. I was able to find out that the biopsy was negative which I am excited about. He said that I had a paratubal cyst which he removed. He didn't explain much about. My cervis was completely closed from the stenosis. He talked to me about finding a nice guy and getting pregnant again. That is IF I can get pregnant. I didn't get to tell him about the nose bleeds. I didn't get to mention that since the surgery, I have been more week, I have horrible cramps in my legs and my mood swings are so bad that I want to just punch someone's lights out. Did anyone have these symptoms after surgery? If so, how hong did it last? He didn't even discuss what the next step is. If anyone knows a good doctor in New York primarily the Long Island area, please let me know. I need some help from fellow sufferers. T\
