Re: Anyone taking Femara for Endometriosis?

Hi, Becky!
I did four months of Femara for endo and LOVED it! I had some minor
muscle aches the first month and other than pesky hot flashes some
nights, found I felt better and better as each month progressed. The
one mistake I made was allowing my doc to use it like Clomid, two cycles
ago, to try to increase my fertility. I had every terrible side-effect
you can imagine and am still trying to recover from it. I know that
diet and exercise really help with my great results from the drug. My
acupuncturist had me cut out dairy, red meat, alcohol and wheat. I use
Thermacare wraps (heat) and acupressure to deal with any pain. While I
was on the Femara for endo, the pain during my cycle was almost
non-existant. I still had pain with ovulation - but it was decreasing
as each month passed.
