Re: Is it endo & should I have lap??

I think you should wait until after you have talked with your doctor about the ultrasound results and see what the doctor suggests. Your symptoms that you describe don't necessarily point to endometriosis so it is quite possible that there is something else going on.

Has your doctor tried having you work with a nutrionist to determine if your problems are digestive tract/bowel focused? You could simply have an enzyme disorder or a physical cause that inteferes with your digestion which would account for the enlarged bowels, constipation, and pain and pressure you feel in your back and abdomen. The added pressure of being bloated and the contractions of the uterus during your period are probably exaggerated by and exaggerating the cramping in your bowels.

The whole "your body is producing more blood than your body can get rid of" theory is a load of hooey. Your body produces it, it is held in a central location in preparation for pregnancy, it is gotten rid of when there is no pregnancy, rinse and repeat 24 to 42 days later. Yeah, some sneaks out and goes elsewhere and that is what endometriosis implants are... but that alone would not account for what you said was seen on your ultrasound and the symptoms you describe. Doesn't mean that there is no endometriosis, just that I don't think endo is the only answer here.

Good luck and let us know.
