Once my Dr. unwrapped it, he found a "chocolate cyst" on my ovary. He removed the ovary and tube because the cyst was so large. I still have my left ovary so I am not in menapause. I think if you are miserable on the pill (I know I was when I took them), I'd see if they would consider doing a Lap and removing the cyst or the ovary. Just a suggestion - hope you feel better soon!
