Is it endo & should I have lap??From: Belinda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Mar 28 11:27:34 2005
Hi everyone. I go tomorrow to get results from my ultrasound. I have had such lower back pain all weekend. It feels like there is so much pressure. It's even making my hips and legs hurt. It almost feels flu-like. I have noticed that the past few months that my cycles have gotten heavier with more clots. The dr says my body is producing more blood than I can get rid of. I have also noticed that my b.m. have seemed to stop. The only way I have a b.m. is to take a laxative and then that makes my stomach cramp so bad and I know that it's not good on my body. Last week when the technician did my ultrasound the only thing that she could see was my bowels. She tried to move them out of the way but they wouldn't budge. Makes me wonder if I have adhesions. I know the only way for the dr to 100% diagnose me w/endo is to do the lap. I have been wondering if I should get back on the patch to help with ovulation pains and try to find something that will make my b.m. regular. I am at a loss as to what to do!! I just don't want to have any unnecessary surgeries. Is this something that anyone else is going through? I only have cramps/pains for about 10-12 days a month. So right now I'm not in excruciating pain....it's just aggrivating. Any info. would help so much!! Thanks!
