Re: Anyone taking Femara for Endometriosis?

Hi Becky -- I have been on Femara for the last year (longer than is recommended for most, but the doctor wanted to extend, and he's been such a wonderful doc, I trust him), and it, paired with periodic accupunture, lymph drainage massage) and some diet changes have been a MIRACLE for me!

I know that femara may not be an answer for every woman, but man oh man... this drug (along with the other changes I've been doing), has given me my life back! I didn't have much relief until about month 3 or so, but when I think of what horrible pain/shape I was in a year ago, and how relatively great I am now (still a few "rough days" a month, but just need to be careful with diet, rest and use the heating pad some nights)... I just am amazed!

You, or anyone with questions about Femara can free to email me off-list, I don't check this board very often. You can reach me at mbbchealth@hotmail.com... there is also a small yahoo group for women on Letrozale -- I believe it's called "starting letrozale"... Take care, and best of luck! -Mariah
