Vickie,

While you should always play it safe and report bleeding and pain to your Doctor, it is not uncommon for women with endo to bleed or hurt during intercourse. This kind of thing happens to me quite often and there is no other cause for it (at least for me) but endo. I tend to bleed and spot more often than not after or during sex, and often the bleeding and slight pain carries on for several days. I just chalk it up to "endo fun" (sarcasm!!) since all other issues for me have been ruled out. I can even sit in certain positions or ride in the car for long periods of time and spot and bleed. Hang in there! It sure can't hurt to talk to your Doctor about it to rule anything else out, plus for peace of mind!

Hugs! Amy Meyer
