I completely understand your frustration but there are more experts than just the one in California. Go the website I gave you yesterday, http://www.aagl.com and you can find very qualified surgeons in your area.

Endometriosis treatment is becoming highly specialized because of the amount of time involved and a busy Ob/Gyn practice is just simply not going to be able to give endo patients the amount of time required. Also, most general Ob/Gyns are not as skilled surgically as one of the doctors you will find listed on the AAGL website. They just don't get much opportunity to practice their surgical skills plus the added cost of malpractic insurance which is already sky high for an OB.
