Re: has anyone else here experienced thisFrom: holly (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Mar 18 10:57:01 2005
i've been diagnosed with endo and IC, and i get that pain quite often. mine's on the right side though. dr thinks it might be my ureter though in my case. it has a tendency to get "sludgy" for some reason. once i had the pain really bad, and it was before i ever developed IC symptoms. had an u/s and it was a follicle growing. are you on birth control? i think even on some of the lower doses you can still produce follicles every now and then. it could be ovulation pain, it could be IC, it could be anything. but i really don't know what to do about it. i usually just lie there in the bed or on the floor and try to keep from crying. if you find an answer please let me know. i'm sorry you're having the pain. it really does hurt, i know. does yours last a long time? mine's usually about 30 minutes, sometimes a little longer. then i have mild pain the rest of the day. but the evil intense stuff is fortunately not a constant battle. (((((hugs))))) definitely ask your gyn or your urologist.
