Hi there. I was wondering if anybody else has pain with or shortly after ovulation? My pain starts with ovulation...may stop for a few days and then comes back until about 3-4 days before period. Doctor seems to think that this is connected with possible endometriosis....but I have my doubts. Pains are "stabbing" and are not constant but seems to hurt on the same side that I ovulate from. Also when my period starts, the same pain comes back but only briefly. Supposed to have ultrasound on the 23rd to rule out cysts, etc. Then follow up with possible laporoscopy. I'm wondering if it could be something as simple as PMS or is the dr. correct in associating it with endometriosis. (was diagnosed in 1993 w/endo but later lap in 2000 showed no signs of endo returning) Just don't want to have un-necessary lap done. Thanks for your responses....B
