>I had an appointment with an endo specialist last month. He did an ultrasound and talked to me about my symptoms, he feels that I would benefit from Lupron or Danazol.<<

That's the first problem. A true Endo specialist would not recommend Lupron, and certainly would not recommend the outdated Danazol therapy.

>>I asked to be put on regular old birth control pills to
>help regulate things. The doctor sent me a letter saying that he feels as though I am making the wrong decision and that Lupron or Danazol would be a much better treatment and possible cure the endo!<<

Drop him like he's hot. Lupron and Danazol are not cures, and any doctor who disrespects your empowerment as a patient in charge of her own health decisions that way isn't worth your co-pay.

Ask him how much he is receiving in kickbacks from the pharmaceutical company to be their pusher and remind him that they just settled a near-billion dollar federal lawsuit for that.

Go see a real Endo specialist and get the help you need and deserve. Good luck to you and be well.
